Polite? Not quite.
Meet Shitsu
Part mascot, part mischief manager, he’s a tanuki with nerdy round glasses and a red bandana; polite on the surface, plotting puns underneath.
He keeps us honest: respect first, cliché last. He’s the filter for what we publish and the spark in what we don’t say out loud. You’ll spot him where it matters: on notes, seals, and tiny easter eggs in each drop. If you catch him winking, consider it your invitation: you got the message between the lines.
Shitsumasu lives where Japanese attitude meets Italian craftsmanship.
Born from “shitsurei shimasu”, pardon the rudeness, we kept the audacity and trimmed the apology.
We’re here to tilt the immaculate, ever-polite image of Japan, pairing it with an aesthetic that’s bold, a touch provocative, and never performative. This is an act of love, not parody: from lovers of Japan, for lovers of Japan. Made for those who catch the reference without the shout.
